Tim Walker Story Teller

Somerset House is currently showcasing the vision, props and imagination of photographer Tim Walker. Known for extravagant and visually arresting shots, Walker has had work published in the world’s leading fashion magazines and the permanent collections of galleries, including the National Gallery and the Victoria & Albert Museum. The photographs depict fairytale reality, bizarre and unexpected scenarios, and purely luxurious aesthetics. The extravagant scale of the shoots themselves make them comparable to film sets, and the inclusion of props in this exhibition gave it an even greater depth and scale; and impact. For striking, highly original, and often, extremely funny scenes, this exhibition is an autumn must-see.
